Welcome to Torquay P-6 College
With strong community values and a reputation for innovation, Torquay College students enjoy a rich curriculum in a stimulating, safe and supportive environment. Our 615 students are actively engaged in developing critical thinking, technological and communication skills to equip them as 21st Century citizens.

From foundational numeracy and literacy skills, to an Indigenous experience, LOTE-Indonesian teaching, and the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Foundation program, we engage students in their own educational and emotional learning  journey. We do this through contemporary inquiry-based learning, which is supported by a highly motivated teaching team and strong ICT, Science, Sustainability, Intervention, Physical Education, Visual and Performing Arts Programs.

Our facilities include an Environment Centre with aviary and wetlands, a student-managed cafe, an edible garden and chicken house, art studios, vibrant, well resourced Library, rehearsal/ recording/ film editing rooms and an all weather soccer pitch and athletics track, tennis court, cricket nets and grassed oval.

Our values and programs reflect the high priority and commitment of our parents and community for excellence in a positive and caring environment.

Respect,    Friendship & Doing Your Best

Respect, Friendship & Doing your best.

Living and learning by the sea.

Torquay College acknowledges the Wadawurrung people as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we live, learn and play and recognise the resilience, strength and pride of all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. We acknowledge the connection to land, waters and cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging throughout Australia.
